They arouse fear for some, fascinate others and sometimes invite us to get on all fours to observe those who have eight! Come and discover the fascinating world of spiders during a workshop led by Joseph Zes, nature animator at La Ferme du Héron.
You will marvel at their talents as architects and discover, beyond their reputation, the essential role they play in ecosystems. An opportunity to learn more about these often unknown animals and change your perspective on them.
The event will be followed by a visit to the insectarium.
This activity is offered in partnership with the Biodiversity and Environmental Education department.

Elles suscitent la peur pour les uns, fascinent les autres et nous invitent parfois à nous mettre à quatre pattes pour observer celles qui en ont huit ! Venez découvrir le monde fascinant des araignées lors d’un atelier animé par Joseph Despicht, animateur nature de la Ferme du Héron.
Vous vous émerveillerez notamment devant leurs talents d’architectes et découvrirez, au-delà de leur réputation, le rôle essentiel qu’elles jouent dans les écosystèmes. Une occasion d’en apprendre davantage sur ces animaux souvent méconnus et de changer de regard sur eux.
L’animation sera suivie d’une visite de l’insectarium.
Cette animation est proposée en partenariat avec le service Biodiversité et Éducation à l’environnement.

Ze wekken angst op voor sommigen, fascineren anderen en nodigen ons soms uit om op alle facours te komen om degenen te observeren die acht hebben! Kom en ontdek de fascinerende wereld van spinnen tijdens een workshop onder leiding van Joseph Despicht, natuuranimator van Ferme du Heron.
U zult zich verbazen over hun architectonische talenten en ontdekken, buiten hun reputatie, de essentiële rol die zij spelen in ecosystemen. Een kans om meer te leren over deze vaak onbekende dieren en om je perspectief op hen te veranderen.
De animatie wordt gevolgd door een bezoek aan het insectarium.
