Echoing the show Ve République (we didn’t find anything better) by Sébastien Valignat, at La rose des vents, national stage of Lille metropolis
Transport Minister Bertrand Saint-Jean is woken up in the middle of the night by his chief of staff. A coach tipped into a ravine. He’s going, he doesn’t have a choice. Thus begins the odyssey of a statesman in an increasingly complex and hostile world. Speed, power struggles, chaos, economic crisis... Everything follows each other and collides. One urgency drives away the other. What sacrifices are men prepared for? How far will they hold, in a state that devours those who serve it?
