Haus- und Wildtiere sind ein inspirierendes Thema für Posterdesigner. Als Symbol eines Landes, einer Region oder einer Stadt wird es auch mit dem Aufschwung des Tourismus und der Konsumgesellschaft in Verbindung gebracht. Vor allem im Alpenraum und in den dortigen Ferienorten wird es häufig verwendet. Auch die Entstehung eines Natur- und Umweltbewusstseins wird durch das alpine Bestiarium unterstützt. Die Jagd und die Rückkehr der großen Raubtiere in der Schweiz, die an die Urne gerufen wurde, lösten in den letzten Jahrzehnten intensive Debatten aus.

The domestic or wild animal is an inspiring subject for poster designers. Symbols of a country, region or city, they are also associated with the rise of tourism and the consumer society. The Alps and their resorts in particular make abundant use of them. The emergence of a sensitivity to nature and the environment also relies on Alpine bestiary. Hunting and the return of large predators have been the subject of intense debate in Switzerland in recent decades.

L’animal domestique ou sauvage est un sujet inspirant pour les créateur·trices d’affiches. Symbole d’un pays, d’une région ou d’une cité, il est également associé à l’essor du tourisme et de la société de consommation. L’espace alpin et ses stations en font notamment un usage abondant. L’émergence d’une sensibilité à la nature et à l’environnement s’appuie également sur le bestiaire alpin. La chasse et le retour des grands prédateurs, dans une Suisse appelée aux urnes, suscitent des débats intenses ces dernières décennies.
