A magical show

The Cirque du Soleil returns to Bordeaux after the triumph of OVO. (Re)discover the Corteo show at Arkéa Arena from September 19 to 22, 2024.
Corteo, which means “procession” in Italian, is a joyous procession, a festive parade imagined by a clown. Combining acrobatic prowess, comedy and acting, Corteo plunges spectators into a theatrical universe imbued with playfulness and spontaneity, set in a strange space between heaven and earth.
In a funfair atmosphere, the clown evokes his own funeral, under the watchful gaze of a flock of benevolent angels. Opposing the large and the small, the ridiculous and the tragic, the magic of perfection and the charm of imperfection, the show draws on the clown's strength and fragility, as well as his wisdom and tenderness, to illustrate the humanity in all of us. Carried along by sounds that are sometimes lyrical, sometimes comical, Corteo is a timeless feast where illusion tickles reality.
