A festival dedicated to historical films
Since 1990, the Cinéma Jean Eustache has hosted the Historical Film Festival every November, bringing together professionals, curious visitors and enthusiasts to enjoy a wide range of films and discussions. A place for meeting and exchanging ideas, the Historical Film Festival is a must-attend event for all lovers and enthusiasts of history and cinema.
Each edition centres on a specific theme. This year, the theme in the spotlight will be ‘Secrets and Lies’, explored through 50 films – including great classics, recent fiction films and documentaries – and around thirty debates featuring a host of prominent figures (historians, geographers, politicians and scientists).

Un festival dédié aux films d'histoire
Depuis 1990, Le Cinéma Jean Eustache accueille chaque année au mois de novembre le Festival du Film d’Histoire qui rassemble professionnels, curieux et passionnés autour de nombreux films et débats. Lieu de rencontres et d’échanges, le Festival du Film d’Histoire constitue un véritable rendez-vous pour tous les amateurs & passionnés d’Histoire et de Cinéma.
Chaque édition s’articule autour d’un thème. Cette année, la thématique à l’honneur sera « Secret et mensonge », déclinée au travers de 50 films : grands classiques, films de fictions récents ou documentaires ; et une trentaine de débats en présence de nombreuses personnalité(e)s (historiens, géographes, personnalités politiques ou scientifiques).
