Château et jardins de Villaines
19 route de Sablé, 72210 Louplande
In a classified site, the gardens of Villaines are organized around the buildings, in leisure spaces, to the north (limited by dry moats), and to the south (bordered by water moats). The so-called utility gardens consist to the east of an orchard that marks the separation with the woods of Villaines, and to the west of a garden enclosed by walls of about one hectare. Located in the heart of a territory of 200 hectares of woods and meadows, Villaines is lucky to not suffer for the moment from any nuisance or pollution in its environment. Below the moat flows the river Préau.
