The Garden Arborétum d' Ilex is a unique(only) site in Centre region Val de Loire and in France. Certified Remarkable Garden, this garden is an exceptional academy by its botanical value and its esthetics including in particular 4 national collections registered on the CCVS. 450 varieties of Ilex ( holly) are next(go alongside) to a collection of rich hostas, slight astilbes and multicolored clematises.
Many more rare plants were crashed since almost 30 years in this swamp fitted out in the Middle Ages, to give to this site at once a botanical value but also a charm which allows the visitor to agree a different breakaway. The garden finds all its charm and its peculiarity with the numerous channels(canals) of the Mauves(Mallows) which wind in the middle of crashed ilots.
