Free visit of the garden level of the abbey and gardens – duration +/-1hYou can admire: - The 2 hectares of gardens: Italian garden, Mediterranean garden, botanical trail, chapel Sainte Casarie, remains of churches. The gardens offer panoramic views of Avignon, the Palais des Papes and the Alpilles from the terraces of the Italian garden as well as Mont Ventoux and the Dentelles de Montmirail from the large terraces.

  • The historical circuit and temporary exhibition rooms on the garden level of the abbey.
    We also have a small café under the vaults facing the Palais des Papes (coffee and snacks)

On the heights of the mount Andaon, gardens deprived in terraces spreading(displaying) between the vestiges of the Romance churches and the graves of the VIth century: massifs of old(former) rosebushes, Mediterranean plants, olive trees and hundred-year-old pines. At the foot of the palace, a flowerbed(orchestra) of Tuscan style of the XVIth century, adorned with ponds, vases(muds) and sculptures follows a pergola covered with wisterias and with pink(roses). Panoramic view.
