The castle’s historic gardens are located within the medieval walls. They are attested at least since the end of the eighteenth century, when one evokes the «Grands jardins», but their creation undoubtedly goes back to the moment when the castle becomes purely residential (late fifteenth-early sixteenth century)The wooded park located to the north and immediately outside the enclosure was created at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, on plowing land, in the locality La Folie. Today, the ensemble forms a remarkable ensemble with its old plantations and trees: Atlas cedars, Virginia tulips, red chestnuts, purple beeches, Byzantium hazel, Siberian elms, etc. Finally discover the contemporary rose garden, planted in the fashion of the French garden, with its 400 roses and perennials, pergolas and cozy benches.
