visit of the garden of André Catherin
Visitors will be able to see how the old gardening practices have been advantageously replaced by practices guaranteeing the life of the soil: -digging and tiller replaced by grelinette, claw and rake -chemical fertilizer replaced by compost and liquid fertilizer made with compost juice, urine and plant extract pesticide replaced by various plant extract (nettle and horsetail manure) - raticide replaced by hair and elderberry They will also be able to see techniques adapted to climate change: water management, mulching, shading; and discover innovative techniques rewarded by the National Horticultural Society of France: winter crops, cultivation in a bioclimatic greenhouse (warm layers), above-ground cultivation. My specialty is the early cultivation of potatoes but also sweet potatoes, chaillotte, etc.
