Through its 5 senses the visitor will be able to discover this year in a sensory way, therefore, the landscapes, trees, plants and palms constituting the botanical collection of the Clément housing park.
A botanical and told history tour, will lead to discover various plant samples, thanks to the 5 senses like: Touch (various dried fruits, presentation of different living bark and foliage), Gout, (cloves and fresh products from sugar cane), the smell will allow us to appreciate the spice plants, their leaves, their bark (wood of india, cinnamon, pepper of Brazil but also the perfume plants and their flower Tiaré and Ylang-Ylang. Hearing, the singing of bamboos and birds, the rhythmic speech of the storyteller as well as reveling in the enchanting melody of the Kora of the Senegalese master Ali Boulo Santo Cissoko, punctuating the visit.

Named after the famous family that settled there for nearly a hundred years from 1887, the Habitation Clément is a vast agricultural estate of 160 hectares, nestled in the commune of François, south-east of Martinique. Dominated by a Creole house dating from the 18th century, this place – listed as a historic monument in 1996 – brings together in the heart of the sugar cane plantations a major heritage site, a recognized contemporary art center and a renowned rum house.
