L'Histoire de ce jardin sis au 78 avenue de la Division Leclerc à Châtillon debuted in 2019.
The association decided to submit a participatory grant application to the Ile de France Region for the implementation of a «Intergenerational Citizen Vegetable Garden» project. It was a success when it won public support for a participatory budget in October 2020\. Indeed, as part of its Green Plan, the Region supports projects to create and open to the public new green spaces and nature, and projects to improve the quality of existing green spaces.
The project aimed to put the human link back at the heart of learning by offering older learners the opportunity to come and teach younger people.
The aim was to democratise small-scale cultivation and to defuse preconceived ideas about the difficulties of vegetable cultivation. My City En Vert 92 wanted to target children (all levels of education) and the elderly, while opening this project to all citizens of its municipality and neighbouring muni
