Artistic welcome at the Jardin d'Émerveille

The Jardin d'Émerveille is a garden of awakening, where is experienced a simple and living relationship to art and culture, a relationship above all human. Art and culture thus appear not as knowledge that one acquires but as something natural that arises spontaneously from the relationships we have with each other. These relationships have a flavor and intensity that perhaps gives artistic value to a gesture or object. The main idea of this garden is that awakening to the world arouses in us a wonder, and that is what must be offered to each child: the ability to be touched and amazed in contact with beings and things around us. This means being mindful of the quality of the objects, the environment and the relationships we have with them.
