Plastic installation in the gardens of La Générale in Paris, 75014.
"Nature of things/De Natura Rerum"
Lorentino’s plastic installation in the gardens of La Générale, an artistic, political and social laboratory in the heart of Paris, as part of the Rendez-Vous aux Jardins and La Fête de la Nature.
According to the text of Lucretius De Natura Rerum, and more particularly book IV which deals with the formation of images. The artist will propose a stroll between the pieces of his installation (mirror and flags), in the garden of La Générale, to the sound of reading the text of Lucretius. He uses the theory of atoms and clinamen dear to epicureans, to create a visual and sound installation, to circulate the words of the poet-philosopher, through the use of braille, but an openwork braille that lets the air pass as well as the imagination of the spectator. A poetic and enigmatic installation that is open to the world and its nature.
