The private garden and the associated community project show how closeness to nature can be experienced and designed in the private environment. Recycling management**, soil improvement**, compost, flowering space and flowering areas, deadwood hedge, berry garden and last but not least art bring new awareness among other things for more appreciation of the soil. Ecological and sustainable action has arisen in four areas in over 25 years from the respective life situations of its inhabitants*. With the move to a farmhouse, the story of GRÜNBUNT began from the consumption of nature to respect and commitment to the plant gift world. The plant-stone kingdom was created after the great fire of the house. From its foundations, with about 300 t, numerous dry stone wall objects were created as new habitats. The extensively landscaped mono-pitched roof of the new house is already perceived from a distance, as it is "inhabited" by the sculptural blue sheep of the artist Rainer Bonk. Due to a lack of space in the private garden, the garden community project "Acker12" was created as a walk-in shop window: 900m² mixed culture on neighboring grounds, where gardening is carried out in solidarity.
