Montaigu Castle
Home of Édouard Salin (1889-1970), metallurgist engineer, archaeologist, man of letters, scientist and collector, who bequeathed it to the Musée Lorrain. The Castle is located in the pleasant Parc de Montaigu near the Iron History Museum. Protected as Historical Monuments, the Château de Montaigu contains collections of paintings, sculptures, works of art, furniture from the 18th century to the beginning of the 20th century, decorative arts and archaeology that testify to the taste of an enlightened amateur.
The Château de Montaigu reopened to the public in 2017\.
Park of the Castle of Montaigu
Part of the statues, loves and vases that adorned the nearby park of the Malgrange today surrounds this country house of the eighteenth century. The chapel evokes the many hermitages that emerged around Nancy in the early seventeenth century.
