Awakening our senses in the Romantic Garden
A visit to the garden is, in itself, an intensely sensory experience.
As we walk we are not indifferent to the sounds, smells, colors and textures that surround us... The sound of water accompanies the winding paths and birdsong fills the air. As we delve into the garden, the natural scents of colorful flowers transport us, in dreams or memories, to distant places, and the fruits of the forest, nutritious seeds and small rustic flowers reveal that there are flavors to discover...
We are invited to touch the velvety moss, the rough bark of the cork oak or the thorny cacti at the garden of Mexico. June is also the month of roses and there is nothing better than ending the tour next to the palace of Monserrate where we are invaded by the sweet aroma that reaches us from the rose garden planted by the Cook family.
