On the occasion of the Rendez-vous aux jardins 2024, the City of Belfort plans to set up a disability awareness workshop for the youngest. This time of exchange and situation will focus on the issues faced by people with disabilities in their daily travel and more broadly in the practice of public space.
Unrolled:

  • presentation and discussions between schoolchildren and animators (10 minutes);
  • putting the workshop into practice, supervised animations of the different courses (40 minutes);
  • feedback from schoolchildren (10 minutes).

The small public garden Lechten in homage to the 1st head gardener of the city of Belfort is well known to Belfortains. Created in 1928, it is one of rare public regular gardens realised in Franche-Comté in the first half of the XXth century. The park presents a beautiful environmental set(group) and flower flowerbeds(orchestras) handled there mosaïculture.
