Labeled ETBS (European Boxwood & Topiary Society), the park of the Domaine de Montlaur received the first prize of the gardens of Aude 2022\. Paths of olive trees, flowerbeds of roses, lavender, hedges cut in topiaries, an iris path, remarkable trees... out of time, the garden invites to daydreaming. Past a long shady alley, the park opens onto a vast lawn where stretch towards the sky of majestic cypresses evoking Italy. In the back of the garden, boxwood paths wind and get lost in the darkness of the pines. Mysterious, overlooking a river, a small grove closes the walk offering the vision of a poetic and secret universe.
As a break for peace and quiet, this garden is a refuge for birds, warblers, starlings, finches of trees, sparrows who sing in the spring to last. An extraordinary concert of joy and fullness that we invite you to listen to serenely under the majestic vault of the spectacular alley of the plane trees of Orient.
