Visit of the park of the castle of Thillombois
Thillombois Castle Park: a long meadow, decorated with a stream, covers the bottom of the valley and forms a wide perspective in the middle of the woods. In the first part of the park, many rare species have been gradually reintroduced since 1993. More wild, the second part is home to a herd of deer. This 43 ha English-style park is listed as a Historic Monument.
Georges invites small visitors as well as adults to discover the park while having fun. On this route, you will discover the history, fauna and flora of the park. Your senses will be put to work: first of all, by closing your eyes you will hear the song of the birds, the sound of the stream that crosses the park, but also the smell with the scents of flowers, herbs without forgetting the touch: the bark of the trees, the leaves…
A long view installed at the bottom of the park will allow you to observe and discover the park of the castle and even to admire the herd of deer that live quietly in the reserve.
A great opportunity to discover the secrets of nature!
An exhibition on water in Thillombois will be installed for this occasion.
