After entering through the 350 year old Indian gate you immediately feel transported into another world. Originally planned as a private oasis of peace, the project took on ever greater proportions on its way from the farmland to the water garden. Now visitors sit in hidden secluded corners behind tall bamboo bushes and enjoy a cup of coffee from their own cafeteria and dreamlike views over the miniature landscape garden. On both days Mr Schulz-Leyk always leads through "his" garden at 2 pm. Insights into the Leyk ceramic manufactory are also provided, where ceramic light houses are created in many manual work steps.
