Im Jahr 2025 führten CLMH, Normandie Aménagement und die Stadt Caen zusammen mit dem GIP EPAU (Europe des Projets Urbains et Architecturaux) einen wettbewerblichen Dialog zur Umstrukturierung des Gebäudes Langevin im Rahmen der internationalen Konsultation Quartiers de demain.
Mit der Unterstützung der Bürgerjury, der Bewohner und der Partner des Viertels waren die Gespräche zahlreich und fruchtbar.
Die Herausforderung war groß, wie dieses ikonische Gebäude in dem Viertel, das ursprünglich für den Abriss bestimmt war.
Wie kann man das Image dieser HLM-Stange der 60er Jahre grundlegend verändern? Wie wird das Leben in diesen Wohnungen für die nächsten 50 Jahre aussehen? Welche Aktivitäten sollten am Fuß des Gebäudes integriert werden?
Die Entscheidung für eine vollständige Renovierung des Gebäudes Langevin soll das Potenzial der bestehenden Gebäude zur Umgestaltung unter Berücksichtigung der Nachhaltigkeit unter Kontrolle der Budgets demonstrieren.

In 2025, CLMH, Normandie Aménagement and the City of Caen, together with GIP EPAU (Europe des Projets Urbains et Architecturaux), led a competitive dialogue for the restructuring of the Langevin building, as part of the international consultation Quartiers de demain.
With the support of the citizen jury, residents and partners of the neighborhood, the exchanges were numerous and fruitful.
The challenge was daunting, just like this emblematic building in the neighborhood that was initially slated for demolition.
How can we fundamentally change the image of this HLM building from the 1960s? What life in these homes will be like for the next 50 years? What activities should be integrated at the foot of the building?
The choice of a complete restructuring of the Langevin building aims to demonstrate the potential for transforming existing buildings, in a sustainable development approach while controlling budgets.

Nel 2025, CLMH, Normandie Aménagement e la città di Caen hanno condotto insieme al GIP EPAU (Europe des Projets Urbains et Architecturaux) un dialogo competitivo per la ristrutturazione dell'edificio Langevin, nell'ambito della consultazione internazionale Quartiers de demain.
Con il sostegno della giuria cittadina, degli abitanti e dei partner del quartiere, gli scambi sono stati numerosi e fruttuosi.
La sfida era grande, come questo edificio emblematico del quartiere inizialmente destinato alla demolizione.
Come cambiare profondamente l'immagine di questa barra condominiale degli anni '60? Che vita in queste abitazioni per i prossimi 50 anni? Quali attività inserire a piedi dell'edificio?
La scelta della ristrutturazione completa dell'edificio Langevin mira a dimostrare il potenziale di trasformazione delle costruzioni esistenti, in una logica di sviluppo sostenibile e nel rispetto dei budget.

En 2025, CLMH, Normandie Aménagement, la Ville de Caen ont mené aux côtés du GIP EPAU (Europe des Projets Urbains et Architecturaux) un dialogue compétitif pour la restructuration de l’immeuble Langevin, dans le cadre de la consultation internationale Quartiers de demain.
Avec l’appui du jury citoyen, des habitants et partenaires du quartier, les échanges ont été nombreux et fructueux.
Le défi était de taille, à l’image de cet immeuble emblématique du quartier initialement voué à la démolition.
Comment changer en profondeur l’image de cette barre HLM des années 60 ? Quelle vie dans ces logements pour les 50 prochaines années ? Quelles activités intégrer en pied d’immeuble ?
Le choix de la restructuration complète de l’immeuble Langevin vise à démontrer le potentiel de transformation des constructions existantes, dans une logique de développement durable tout en maîtrisant les budgets.

En 2025, CLMH, Normandie Aménagement y la ciudad de Caen llevaron a cabo junto con el GIP EPAU (Europe des Projets Urbains et Architecturaux) un diálogo competitivo para la reestructuración del edificio Langevin, como parte de la consulta internacional Barrios del mañana.
Con el apoyo del jurado ciudadano, de los habitantes y socios del barrio, los intercambios han sido numerosos y fructíferos.
El desafío era grande, como este edificio emblemático del barrio inicialmente destinado a la demolición.
Cómo cambiar profundamente la imagen de esta barra HLM de los años 60? ¿Qué vida en estas viviendas para los próximos 50 años? ¿Qué actividades integrar en pie de edificio?
