Enjoy a triple gallop day with the whole family! Gabriel Tassart, the Museum’s Bourlier takes this day by storm and offers horse-drawn carriage rides and pony rides, demonstrations of maréchalerie and bourrellerie, sculpture workshops and of course fabulous equestrian shows.

General audience

• From 10h: rides on board of 2 carriages, commented by a 19th century villager.
• From 11h to 12h and from 14h to 18h: horse race stick and horseshoe throwing contest.
• From 11h: demonstration of horseshoe on a horse with a farrier marshal.
• Horse shows of Boulonnais horses.
• From 3pm to 6pm: family workshops on the theme of the horse! Go back with your creation!
• 11am and 6pm: animal rendezvous. Accompany our villagers to meet the farm animals!
• At 3pm: guided tour with a villageois in museum costume and meeting with our villageois in period costume.
• At 14h and 16h: school of yesteryear. Relive the 19th century school with
  teacher or the master of the village school. To your feathers and inkwells! from 8 years.
• At 2.30pm and 4.30pm: discovery of the old school
  Children under the age of 8 may travel in the middle of desks.
