Bruno Montpied is a creator, author and specialist in art brut environments. He has written Éloge des jardins anarchiques (L'Insomniaque, 2011) and Le Gazouillis des elephants (Sandre, 2017).
Le Gazouillis des elephants is the first attempt at a general inventory of such places in France; Bruno Montpied has identified, in thirty years of assiduous wanderings, more than 300. Both a delightful picture book and a travel guide through unusual France, Le Gazouillis des elephants is also a reference book in the field of raw art.
