During the visit of this house which was the last point of resistance for Marine Infantry soldiers during the fighting of BAZEILLES on 31 August and 1 September 1870, you will walk there or 152 years before about fifty men were stationed for this last rampart facing the Bavarian Soldiers. Throughout the course you will discover objects that have for some belonged to these brave soldiers and above all you will last enter the room immortalized by the painting of Alphonse de Neuville (the last cartridges) who kept the stigmata of this last moment.
