Collections of the Museum of Fine Arts and Archaeology
From the Middle Ages to the 19th century, the medieval gallery and art galleries invite you to travel back in time to the splendors of the churches and castles that disappeared from the Dawn. The museum has also been enriched by collectors, patrons and government depots. Giotto, Rubens, Girardon, Watteau, Fragonard, Corot and many other great names are on this exceptional course. From the origins of Man in the Dawn to Merovingian times, the archaeological collections evoke the very long history of Troyes and its region, but also that of the civilizations of the ancient Mediterranean: Egypt, Greece, Etruria...
The museums of the City of Troyes are exceptionally free on Saturday 13 May from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm and during the Night of Museums from 8pm to midnight.
