"Encounters" with the exhibition guests
During this weekend of celebrations, discover the "Itinerary of Dialogue" in the permanent exhibition!
The "Itinerary of Dialogue" invites you to hear new stories about the history, significance and special place of certain objects in the museum's collections. What's at stake in this dialogue? Who are the people who initiate or take part in this dialogue? How do these relationships with source communities impact the museum's collections? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed in this tour, to help us better understand what is at stake today with the collections of museums of ethnography, and the MEG in particular.
With Carine Ayélé Durand, Director of MEG and Damien Kunik, Curator of Asian Collections at MEG.
This event is free of charge and does not require registration. Please arrive in the permanent exhibition at least 5 minutes before the start of the visit.
