Artists Cathy Sarr and Sankoum Cissokho (kora) take us from Mali to Senegal, on a journey of initiation for young and old, with wisdom tales, fables and snippets from Soundjata's epic (the founding story of the Mandingo empire).
We learn from the buffalo woman Do-Kamissa that: "Only respect for others can overcome everything" and that "you mustn't speak ill of termites when you're in the shadow of the termite mound".
