The museum in the lives of toddlers: a training day for early childhood professionals.
MEG has invited the enVies association to organise a one-day training course for professionals working with young children. More than a training course, this day is intended to be a laboratory for shared reflection around three questions:-What role do the MEG or other museums have to play in the development of young children? -How can museums become partners in cultural and artistic education and enrich professional practice? -How can we create and experience unique encounters, in and out of the museum, that are meaningful without weighing down our daily lives?
This day will be based on the "Charter for Early Learners", built around 6 items:
1.Listening to children from birth
2.Commitment and action
3.Co-constructing to grow together
4.Sharing wonder
5.Majestic simplicity
6.Freedom lies in wait
The enVies association promotes creative and poetic awakening on a daily basis! It aims to reenchant the way we look at life by offering mischievous and atypical performances for young and old alike.
