To celebrate its 200th anniversary, the Conservatoire botanique opens its doors to the public through a photographic immersion of its priceless, little-known treasures!
You'll discover the herbarium and the library, home to impressive heritage collections, which the researchers conserve, enrich and use as a basis for their scientific studies, as well as making them accessible to the public.
There is also a seed bank and a molecular laboratory, essential infrastructures for the cutting-edge research carried out within the institution: inventorying, describing and classifying plant and fungal diversity to ensure its conservation and respond to the many challenges linked to the loss of biodiversity and climate change.

Vous découvrirez ainsi les herbiers et la bibliothèque, abritant d'impressionnantes collections patrimoniales, que les chercheur·euse·s conservent, enrichissent et utilisent comme base de travail pour leur étude scientifique et rendent également accessibles au public.
A cela s'ajoutent une banque de semences et un laboratoire moléculaire, infrastructures indispensables pour la recherche de pointe menée au sein de l'institution: inventorier, décrire et classer la diversité végétale et fongique pour assurer sa conservation et répondre aux nombreux défis liés à la perte de la biodiversité et au changement climatique.
