Menalua****, proposed by Jazz à Véd'à Co-production with Jazz en Nord At the origin of Menalua, the encounter of an aerial voice and an acoustic guitar. During their concerts in duo, Mathilde Gardien and Romain Salmon developed a refined sound signature, paying tribute to both jazz and Brazilian music. Gradually called by the desire to compose together, they created their own universe in the form of a quartet, associating Matis Regnault with the double bass, and Ananda Brandão with the drums and singing, replaced for the occasion by the talented Clément Brajtman. These four musicians-composers, all from the Didier Lockwood Music Centre, weave an inventive and modern music with multiple influences, never far from jazz and Brazil. A singular place is given to the mixture of vocal timbres as well as improvisation. Four talents to discover, which we can guess in constant search of expression and freedom. Mathilde Gardien: voice Romain Salmon: guitar Mathis Regnault: double bass Ananda Brandão: drums, vocals Price 12€ and 15€, reservation at 03 20 31 90 50 with Jazz à Véd'à
