The salt cellar is a remarkable building built in the second half of the 16th century in the historic centre of the city to store the salt that the inhabitants had to pay for. With the abolition of the gabelle at the end of the 18th century, the salt attic was used as a dwelling. In 2018, Isabelle Frank, a visual artist, set up her studio and opened an art gallery on the ground floor of the building.
