Chased by her family, a little girl has no choice but to flee. As she takes refuge in the forest, she meets a dog who tries to help her. Together, they are their own pack, their own team. Her ingenuity, her instinct are used to survive. The winter is harsh, and the child is cold, and then makes a garment with the animal’s hair. She will become… The girl in dog hair.
Intended for young people, this story raises important questions in life, which lead children and adolescents to reflect on the richness of the links between living beings, trust, sometimes mistrust and mourning, attention and care for loved ones. Based on the beautiful text by Emmanuelle Maisonneuve published in 2022 – Alice Editions-.

Chassée par les siens, une petite fille n’a pas d’autre choix que de fuir. Alors qu’elle se réfugie dans la forêt, elle fait la rencontre d’un chien qui entreprend de l’aider. Ensemble, ils sont leur propre meute, leur propre attelage. Son ingéniosité à elle, son instinct à lui sont mis à profit pour survivre. L’hiver est rude, et l’enfant transie de froid, se confectionne alors un vêtement à l’aide des poils de l’animal. Elle va devenir… la fille en poils de chien.
Destinée à la jeunesse, cette histoire soulève des questions importantes à la vie, qui amènent les enfants et adolescents à réfléchir sur la richesse des liens entre les êtres vivants, la confiance, parfois la méfiance et le deuil, l’attention et le soin portés aux proches. Achtervolgd door haar familie, heeft een klein meisje geen andere keuze dan te vluchten. Terwijl ze zich in het bos schuilt, ontmoet ze een hond die haar probeert te helpen. Samen zijn ze hun eigen roedel, hun eigen team. Haar vindingrijkheid, haar instinct worden gebruikt om te overleven.
