Musical performance for a lyrical singer and two circus artists, around the intimate self.
For the first time in a long time, Joan finally feels the heart to go and say «I love you» to the one who occupies her thoughts, but does not know how to go about it. To give herself courage, she goes on a loop of the well-known tunes of her grandmother singer, Johanna de Lebendig. But deep down, she knows that to pronounce the three magic words, she will first have to go and get them from Michel, her mutinous father, a wounded of existence, who never told her.
Élö! is a fable, an ode for voice, because the human voice, when it travels freely from spoken to sung, can tell the whole universe. Lyrical singing heckled and crossed by the circus.

Performance musicale pour une chanteuse lyrique et deux circassiens, autour du soi intime.
Pour la première fois depuis longtemps, Joan se sent enfin le cœur d’aller dire « je t’aime » à celle qui occupe ses pensées, mais ne sait comment s’y prendre. Pour se donner du courage, elle se passe en boucle des airs bien connus de sa grand-mère cantatrice, Johanna de Lebendig. Mais au fond, elle sait que pour prononcer les trois mots magiques, elle devra d’abord aller les chercher du côté de Michel, son père mutique, un blessé de l’existence, qui ne les lui a jamais dits.
Élö ! est une fable, une ode pour voix, car la voix humaine, quand elle voyage librement du parlé au chanté, peut raconter l'univers entier. Du chant lyrique chahuté et traversé par le cirque.

Muzikale uitvoering voor een lyrische zanger en twee circusartiesten, rond het intieme zelf.
Voor het eerst sinds lange tijd voelt Joan eindelijk het hart om te gaan zeggen «ik hou van je» tegen degene die haar gedachten bezet houdt, maar niet weet hoe het moet. Om zichzelf moed te geven, maakt ze een lus van de bekende muziek van haar grootmoeder zanger, Johanna de Lebendig. Maar diep van binnen weet ze dat om de drie magische woorden uit te spreken, ze ze eerst moet gaan en ze zal moeten halen van Michel, haar muiterlijke vader, een gewonde van het bestaan, die het haar nooit verteld heeft.
Élö! is een fabel, een ode voor stem, omdat de menselijke stem, wanneer hij vrij van gesproken naar gezongen reist, het hele universum kan vertellen. Lyrisch zingen geheckerd en doorkruist door het circus.
