The medieval city of Lauzerte is located on the GR 65, on the road to Puy en Velay to Compostela. At 1000 km from their final destination, pilgrims regularly stopped in towns and villages to find lodging and cover. What an adventure for our ancestors who travelled on foot or on donkey!
