Conference: Renovate, raise, extend... and if the habitat of the future was already built?
To build a home by reducing its environmental impact, we must first avoid building it in new and reinvest existing buildings, even modest. The conference-debate offers a new look at alternatives to new housing and the potential of existing buildings in terms of quality of life and architectural quality. In support of testimonies from architects concerned with responding to the concerns of individuals, it will be about:
- Reclaim an existing building to adapt it to both the necessary comfort and the energy transition.
- Invent a new imaginary and a new aesthetic of the house.
- Adapting local construction sectors to this new challenge....
