VISIT OF THE SAINT-DENIS-LES-BOURG FESTIVAL HALL
The CAUE de l'Ain, in association with the Association des Architectes de l'Ain, offers a visit of the site with explanations from Jacques Gerbe and Aurélie Kleine architects and Guillaume Fauvet, mayor. Project designed by Jacques Gerbe architect. The party room is in central position of all the facilities of the town. It is in this context that the municipality has initiated its restructuring to offer a place of sharing to the associative fabric. The Hall of Festivals is a building of agricultural type which dates from 1967. The project highlights the steel structure through demolitions that allow to find the original volume. The entrance to the great hall is moved north, it opens onto a new forecourt that will be the future market place, enlarged by the demolition of two bays of the structure. The associative rooms are turned towards the village and other associative centers.
