Nestled in their natural setting on the banks of the Aulne river, the ruins of the former abbey are an exceptional testimony to the history of all of Brittany. Founded in the 5th century by St Gwenole, destroyed by the Vikings and rebuilt several times, the monastery disappeared during the Revolution.
