Come discover or rediscover the Château de la Mothe-Chandeniers during the European Heritage Days, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September 2026.
The park opens its doors from 10am to 6pm for a free visit of the domain. Dive into the fascinating history of this castle and discover its exceptional heritage.
The bar will be open throughout the day and a catering offer will be offered on site with the food truck Mille et Une Fouée.

To discover the castle of the Mothe Chandeniers is to enter a place out of time, which goes beyond the framework of the simple monument. After its fire in 1932, this 19th century architectural madness was transformed into a living ruin.
Abandoned for 85 years, the building imagined a new life in symbiosis with nature. A former glory of the great ladies of the Belle Époque, the Mothe Chandeniers has abandoned itself to benevolent vegetation.
A magical, anarchic and unique blend in the world where nature and architecture now live in perfect harmony.
Since April 2018, under the impetus of the start-up Dartagnans and the association Adopts a castle, the Mothe Chandeniers belongs to the largest community ever gathered to save a castle in danger. The idea of collectively buying monuments to get them out of oblivion and save them from ruin was born.
The crowdfunding campaigns launched in October 2017 and December 2020, we go around the world and seduce tens of thousands of enthusiasts. Women
