Meeting with Alain Grandieux, archaeologist and ceramologist within the Archaeological Service of the Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis
At the foot of the hill of the Castle in Nice is currently the entrance to the public elevator that allows access to the heights and the public garden. The underground gallery that leads to the elevator actually belongs to a much larger network of facilities dug into the limestone rock between 1939 and 1945. Come and discover its history.
