The church belonged, from the beginning, to the bishop of Cahors. It was one of the most important of the archpriest of Nevèges. One of the bishops of Cahors donated it, in 1254, to the cathedral chapter which had patronage rights until the Revolution. The facade opens with a classical-style portal, framed by a pilaster topped with a pediment. It is openwork with a polylobed rose. Half of the facade is occupied by the bell tower: rectangular tower with two floors, set back and illuminated by semi-circular bays. On the north side is a spiral staircase whose upper parts have been truncated but whose door of communication with the tower can still be seen. The interior presents a vessel completed by a five-sided choir. The nave is lined with side chapels whose arcade has different dimensions and moldings. The windows have been almost all redone.
