In Miramont-de-Comminges, die Kapelle Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs stellt die erste große Leistung von Nicolaï Greschny en Comminges dar. Sie ist ganz den sieben Schmerzen der Jungfrau gewidmet und bewahrt monumentale Fresken aus dem Jahr 1949 auf, die zu den bemerkenswertesten Werken des Künstlers in der Region gehören.

In Miramont-de-Commitinges, the Notre-Dame-des-Sept-Douleurs chapel is the first major achievement of Nicolaï Greschny en Comminges. Entirely dedicated to the Seven Sorrows of the Virgin, it preserves monumental frescoes made in 1949, among the most remarkable ensembles by the artist in the region.
The Saint-Pierre du Cuing church, entirely decorated by Nicolaï Greschny in 1949, presents a remarkable set of frescoes. The biblical scenes rub shoulders with characters and landscapes inspired by local life, in a style blending Byzantine tradition and modernity.
In the Saint-Jean de Ponlat chapel, the choir painted by the artist retraces the life of St. John the Baptist in a setting with Byzantine influences, characterized by bright colors and great spiritual intensity.
In Encausse-les-Thermes, the Pavilion of the spa bar houses rare secular frescoes by Nicolaï Greschny, original testimony to his talent outside of religious art. The baptismal font of the church is also decorated by the artist. A guided tour will be offered at the end of the day.
