Drei Frauen, ein gemeinsames Ziel: Mehr als siebzig Jahre lang war die Atelier du portrait in Colmar mit einem Krieg, technischen Veränderungen und geschlechtsspezifischen Vorurteilen konfrontiert. Der Workshop wurde nacheinander von Albertine Fischer, Betty Peter und Chantal Bertolazzi geleitet, die sich ebenso wie ihre Klischees aus der Dunkelheit befreien mussten, um zu existieren. Sie haben Gesichter, eine Stadt, eine Epoche erfasst; dieses Erbe ist heute in Gefahr. Die Archivare bemühen sich, es bestmöglich zu bewahren, um es weiterzugeben.

Three women, one goal: for more than seventy years, the Atelier du portrait in Colmar has faced war, technical changes and gender prejudices. The workshop was led successively by Albertine Fischer, Betty Peter and Chantal Bertolazzi who had as much to tear themselves away from obscurity as their clichés did to exist. They captured faces, a city, an era; this heritage is now in danger. Archivists strive to preserve it as best they can in order to transmit it.

Tre donne, uno stesso obiettivo: per più di settant'anni, l'Atelier du portrait a Colmar ha affrontato una guerra, dei cambiamenti tecnici e dei pregiudizi di genere. Il laboratorio è stato diretto in successione da Albertine Fischer, Betty Peter e Chantal Bertolazzi che hanno dovuto, come i loro cliché, sganciarsi dall'oscurità per esistere. Hanno catturato volti, una città, un'epoca; questo patrimonio è oggi in pericolo. Gli archivisti si sforzano di conservarlo al meglio per trasmetterlo.

Trois femmes, un même objectif : pendant plus de soixante-dix ans, l'Atelier du portrait, à Colmar, a affronté une guerre, des mutations techniques et des préjugés de genre. L’atelier a été dirigé successivement par Albertine Fischer, Betty Peter et Chantal Bertolazzi qui ont dû autant que leurs clichés, s'arracher à l'obscurité pour exister. Elles ont saisi des visages, une ville, une époque ; ce patrimoine est aujourd’hui en danger. Les archivistes s’efforcent de le conserver au mieux pour le transmettre.

Tres mujeres, un mismo objetivo: durante más de setenta años, el Taller del retrato, en Colmar, ha afrontado una guerra, mutaciones técnicas y prejuicios de género. El taller fue dirigido sucesivamente por Albertine Fischer, Betty Peter y Chantal Bertolazzi quienes debieron, tanto como sus clichés, arrancarse de la oscuridad para existir. Captaron rostros, una ciudad, una época; este patrimonio está hoy en peligro. Los archiveros procuran conservarlo lo mejor posible para transmitirlo.
