Die Auswertung des Fonds Jean Deschamps, der im Departementarchiv von L'Aude aufbewahrt und zuvor noch nie wissenschaftlich ausgewertet wurde, hat es ermöglicht, den grundlegenden Platz zu entdecken, den Shakespeare in der Karriere von Jean Deschamps (1920-2007) einnimmt, sei es aus dramaturgischer Sicht, der Theaterarchitektur oder der Beziehung, die er mit dem Publikum eingeht. Als Pionier des Volkstalls in Okzitanien ist Deschamps ein wichtiger, wenn auch unbekannter Akteur der französischen Dezentralisierung nach dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Zu Recht als «der Baumeister» bezeichnet, hat Deschamps die Besonderheit, das künstlerische Schaffen und die Wiederentdeckung oder sogar den Wiederaufbau von außergewöhnlichen historischen Stätten (Stadt Carcassonne, Theater des Meeres in Sète, römische Ruinen von Glanum, Schloss von Serres...) zu artikulieren. In den 1960er Jahren schuf er ein ganzes Netzwerk von «Theater-Festivals vor Ort» rund um das Mittelmeer, was 1968 zu seiner Ernennung zum Direktor des ersten nationalen Dramaturgiezentrums der Region Languedoc-Roussillon führte. Deschamps hat sich vom Modell der Shakespeare-Schule inspirieren lassen, die kulturelle Landschaft von Okzitanien nachhaltig verändert und zur Entstehung des intelligenten Tourismus in der Region beigetragen.
Die von Jean Vivier im Rahmen einer von der okzitanischen Region kofinanzierten Doktorarbeit durchgeführten Forschungen beinhalten eine Anwendung, die sich aus einem Transfer von Kompetenzen in die sozioökonomische Welt ergibt. In Zusammenarbeit mit dem Start-up Atlantide aus Montpellier wurde ein immersives Spiel zur Standortbestimmung auf einem Smartphone entwickelt. Dieses innovative wissenschaftliche Mediationsinstrument für die breite Öffentlichkeit ermöglicht es, das Konzept des populären Theaters in der digitalen Ära zu aktualisieren.
Jean Vivier erhielt 2023 den 2. Prix Poux des Archives départementales de l'Aude für diese Arbeit.

The examination of the Jean Deschamps Fonds held at the Archives départementales de l'Aude and never scientifically exploited before, has allowed to update the fundamental place that Shakespeare occupies in the career of Jean Deschamps (1920-2007), whether from the point of view of dramaturgy, theatrical architecture or the relationship he establishes with the audience. Pioneer of popular theater in Occitania, Deschamps is a major actor, although little known, of the French theatrical decentralization after the Second World War. Rightly nicknamed "the builder", Deschamps has the particularity of articulating artistic creation and the rediscovery, even the reconstruction, of exceptional historical sites (Cité de Carcassonne, Théâtre de la Mer in Sète, Roman ruins of Glanum, Château de Serres...). In the 1960s, he created a whole network of "theatre in situ" festivals around the Mediterranean that led to his appointment as director of the first national drama center of the Languedoc-Roussillon region in 1968. Inspired by the Shakespearian model, Deschamps has sustainably modified the cultural landscape of Occitania and participated in the emergence of smart tourism in the region.
The research carried out by Jean Vivier, as part of a doctoral thesis co-funded by the Occitanie region, includes an application resulting from a transfer of skills to the socio-economic world. In collaboration with the Montpellier-based start-up Atlantide, an immersive game of geolocated investigation on smartphones has been created. This innovative scientific mediation tool aimed at the general public makes it possible to update the concept of popular theatre in the digital age.

La rassegna del Fonds Jean Deschamps conservato negli Archivi dipartimentali dell'Aude e mai sfruttato scientificamente prima, ha permesso di mettere in luce il posto fondamentale che occupa Shakespeare nella carriera di Jean Deschamps (1920-2007), sia dal punto di vista della drammaturgia, dell'architettura teatrale o del rapporto che instaura con il pubblico. Pioniere del teatro popolare in Occitania, Deschamps è un attore importante, anche se poco conosciuto, della decentralizzazione teatrale francese dopo la seconda guerra mondiale. Soprannominato giustamente «il costruttore», Deschamps ha la particolarità di articolare la creazione artistica e la riscoperta, o addirittura la ricostruzione, di siti storici d'eccezione (Città di Carcassonne, Teatro del Mare a Sète, rovine romane di Glanum, Castello di Serres...). Negli anni '60, crea una rete di festival di «teatro in situ» intorno al Mediterraneo che porta alla sua nomina a direttore del primo Centro Drammatico Nazionale della regione Languedoc-Roussillon nel 1968. Ispirandosi al modello shakespeariano, Deschamps ha modificato in modo duraturo il paesaggio culturale dell'Occitania e ha contribuito all'emergere del turismo intelligente nella regione.
Le ricerche effettuate da Jean Vivier, nell'ambito di una tesi di dottorato cofinanziata dalla regione dell'Occitania, comportano un'applicazione risultante da un trasferimento di competenze verso il mondo socio-economico. In collaborazione con la start-up Atlantide di Montpellier, è stato realizzato un gioco immersivo di indagine geolocalizzato su smartphone. Questo innovativo strumento di mediazione scientifica per il grande pubblico permette di riaggiornare il concetto di teatro popolare nell'era digitale.
Jean Vivier ha ricevuto il 2o premio Poux degli Archivi dipartimentali dell'Aude nel 2023 per questo lavoro.

Le dépouillement du Fonds Jean Deschamps conservé aux Archives départementales de l’Aude et jamais exploité scientifiquement auparavant, a permis de mettre à jour la place fondamentale qu’occupe Shakespeare dans la carrière de Jean Deschamps (1920-2007), que ce soit du point de vue de la dramaturgie, de l’architecture théâtrale ou du rapport qu’il instaure avec le public. Pionnier du théâtre populaire en Occitanie, Deschamps est un acteur majeur, bien que méconnu, de la décentralisation théâtrale française après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Surnommé à juste raison « le bâtisseur », Deschamps a pour particularité d’articuler la création artistique et la redécouverte, voire la reconstruction, de sites historiques d’exception (Cité de Carcassonne, Théâtre de la Mer à Sète, ruines romaines de Glanum, Château de Serres…). Dans les années 1960, il crée tout un réseau de festivals de « théâtre in situ » autour de la Méditerranée qui aboutit à sa nomination au poste de directeur du premier Centre dramatique national de la région Languedoc-Roussillon en 1968. En s’inspirant du modèle shakespearien, Deschamps a modifié durablement le paysage culturel d’Occitanie et a participé à l’émergence du tourisme intelligent dans la région.
Les recherches effectuées par Jean Vivier, dans le cadre d’une thèse de doctorat cofinancée par la région Occitanie, comportent une application résultant d’un transfert de compétences vers le monde socio-économique. En collaboration avec la start-up montpelliéraine Atlantide, un jeu immersif d’enquête géolocalisé sur smartphone a été réalisé. Cet outil de médiation scientifique innovant en direction du grand public permet de réactualiser le concept de théâtre populaire à l’heure du numérique.
Jean Vivier a reçu le 2e prix Poux des Archives départementales de l'Aude en 2023 pour ce travail.

Pionero del teatro popular en Occitania, Deschamps es un actor importante, aunque poco conocido, de la descentralización teatral francesa después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Apodado con razón «el constructor», Deschamps tiene la particularidad de articular la creación artística y el redescubrimiento, incluso la reconstrucción, de sitios históricos excepcionales (Ciudad de Carcasona, Teatro del Mar en Sète, ruinas romanas de Glanum, Castillo de Serres...). En los años 1960, creó una red de festivales de «teatro in situ» alrededor del Mediterráneo que culminó con su nombramiento como director del primer Centro Dramático Nacional de la región Languedoc-Roussillon en 1968. Inspirándose en el modelo shakespeariano, Deschamps ha modificado de forma duradera el paisaje cultural de Occitania y ha participado en la emergencia del turismo inteligente en la región.
Las investigaciones realizadas por Jean Vivier, en el marco de una tesis doctoral cofinanciada por la región Occitania, implican una aplicación resultante de una transferencia de competencias hacia el mundo socioeconómico.
