At the request of the inhabitants of Beaugency, six Ursulines arrived from Orléans for the education of the little girls, near the Tavers gate. Since 1629, the school continues in a beautiful construction, supported on the ramparts of the city, with a view on the Loire and the Sologne. Seventeenth century buildings, garden overlooking the Loire.
