Discover the Technicentre des Lignes Normandes, site of Caen. In this maintenance center, usually inaccessible to the public, the Norman Lines trains are repaired, maintained and cleaned.
You will visit, accompanied by agents of the site, the maintenance workshops, specific facilities and machinery.
The new equipment stands alongside the older equipment, the very recent workshop adjoins the historic building, testifying to the perpetual evolution of the railway.
Visitors will be welcomed in groups of up to 8 people. You will discover the unknown industrial world of preventive and curative maintenance of railway equipment. Estimated time of visit: 1 hour. Registration is required from Friday, August 30 at 12 noon on Affluences.com
