La Pléiade is classified «Art et essai» by the Centre national de la cinématographie (CNC) and the Association française des cinémas d'art et essai (AFCAE).
The cinema is equipped with three air-conditioned rooms accessible to people with reduced mobility. Rooms 2 and 3 were renovated in 2022 and 2023.
Managed by the team of the Cachan Cultural Centre and owned by the city, the cinema strives to offer programming for all audiences. Throughout the year, La Pléiade offers a selection of films for national release, premieres, films by French and foreign authors, meetings with artists, broadcasts of operas, etc.
