An exceptional visit to the Castellas restoration site is proposed by the association "Les Amis du Castellas de Roquemartine" as part of the European Heritage Days. Standing on a rocky spur that dominates the plain of Roquemartine in Eyguières, in the Bouches-du-Rhône, this old castrum surrounded by ramparts consists of the remains of a medieval fortress and its church. Inaccessible for security reasons, this remarkable heritage site will be open to the public after its restoration initiated by its owners and funded in part by the Heritage Mission which retains it as an emblematic site of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur regionAlpes-Côte d'Azur in 2022.
