Departure from the Friends of Castrum Vétus Museum. Eponymous site of the "Castelnovien", it housed the last hunters gathering in mesolithic before a abandonment of some silks and a reoccupation in the Neolithic around 5500av J.C. Back around 11:00 at the museum.

The Musée des Amis de Castrum Vetus is a building from the beginning of the 17th century. It was the last residence of the lords of Châteauneuf-les-Martigues. It offers visitors through its 7 exhibition rooms a chronological tour of local archaeology from prehistory to Roman times. It presents a part of the material from the excavations carried out on the site of the prehistoric shelter of the Font-aux-Pigeons proposed to the visit.This eponymous site (Castelnovien), located near the museum was occupied from -7000 to -2500 years.
