The different techniques of dry stone in the Chapel of Peipin

Louis Cagin, wall, specialist of switchgear and historical works in dry stone, leads an internship on two-half days 16 and 17 September.
The participants in this course (on registration, 20 € per adult), build together a dry stone building, around the Chapel of Peipin and the ruins of the castle. The public can attend for free to this site, and appreciate these techniques typical of the south of France and Provence.

Two films by Dominique Comtat, director, artist, photographer, will be screened in thea Chapelle de Peipin Saturday 16 September from 10am to 10am ("Words of stones") and Sunday 17 from 14 to 15h ("Gestures of stones"). Free admission
Saturday, September 16, also in the Chapel of Peipin, Louis Cagin will make a conference from 11am to 12.30pm on the theme: "Dry stone, theory and practice of a traditional construction system"
